What is energy healing?


Energy healing is a gentle practice that supports people in exploring what may be held within the body, emotional system, and inner awareness.

Many experiences in life are processed quickly and move through us with ease. Others remain partially unresolved. Over time these experiences can show up as emotional heaviness, repeating patterns, tension in the body, or a quiet sense that something deeper needs attention.

Energy healing sessions create space to slow down and listen to what the body and inner experience may be communicating.

The aim is not to force change, but to bring awareness and understanding to what is present so the body and mind can begin to shift naturally.

My approach

My work begins with body awareness.

The body often communicates important information before the mind has fully understood what is happening.

During sessions we pay attention to physical sensations, areas of tension or openness, emotional responses, and subtle shifts in energy throughout the body.

From there the work unfolds intuitively.

I integrate several layers of awareness during sessions:

Body awareness

Noticing physical sensations, tension, fatigue, or discomfort that may be connected to emotional experiences.

Energy awareness

Observing how the body’s energetic system feels - where energy flows freely and where it may feel blocked, depleted, or guarded.

Emotional pattern recognition

Exploring emotional themes that may be present, including protective behaviours, inner child dynamics, and repeating life patterns.

I often work with the chakra system as a framework for understanding common emotional themes connected to different areas of the body, such as safety, boundaries, self-worth, communication, and life direction.

Each session is unique.

Sessions begin with a short conversation.

This allows us to explore what is currently present in your life or body, and what you feel ready to look at more closely.

From there you lie comfortably on the treatment table while the healing work begins.

During this time I work intuitively with what is present in your body and energetic system, bringing gentle awareness to areas that may be asking for attention.

Sometimes this involves quiet observation.

Sometimes it involves conversation or reflection as insights arise.

There is no pressure to talk if you prefer to remain in a more inward experience.

Many people notice sensations shifting in the body, emotions surfacing, or moments of clarity about something they had not fully seen before.

The session concludes with time to reflect on what has been experienced and what insights may be helpful moving forward.

This process is collaborative and respectful of each person’s individual experience.

    All you need is a quiet space where you can lie down comfortably.

    Drinking water, resting, or spending some quiet time with yourself can help integrate the experience.
